Villa close to the seafront welcoming all year round for a weekend or holidays.

This very beautiful seaside villa, a stone’s throw from the seafront, will plunge you into the Belle Époque of the first baths. Built in 1840 in brick and flint as it should be, the residence was inhabited by Victor-Antoine Desfossés, a banker-collector and press patron who will also be the patron of Gustave Courbet and Van Gogh. A place steeped in history that welcomes you all year round for a weekend or a holiday. The five rooms are tastefully decorated, modern with antique furniture, and for some, a view of the sea. Nice address.

Idéalement situé, l’établissement est splendide et les chambres calmes et confortables.
Le petit déjeuner était délicieux, fait avec des produits frais et locaux.
Le personnel est également accueillant et disponible.
Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour

Superbe maison d'hote. Le personnel est très agréable et compétent,les chambres sont très spacieuses et très propres. La vue sur Etretat de la chambre est splendide. Nous y retournons avec grand plaisir

Wir waren im Juni 3 Tage in dieser wunderschönen und stilvoll eingerichteten Unterkunft. Wir waren von A bis Z rundum zufrieden. Die Eigentümerfamilie und das Personal haben uns sehr freundlich empfangen und uns alle Wünsche von den Lippen abgelesen. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig, schön eingerichtet und der Liegekomfort der Betten war ausgezeichnet. Das Frühstücksbuffet bestand aus frischen, lokalen Produkten und liess keine Wünsche offen. Wir hatten ein Zimmer in der obersten Etage und ich durfte wegen einer kürzlichen Operation keine Koffer schleppen, was kein Problem war. Estelle und ihre Mitarbeiterin haben das Gepäck ins Zimmer getragen, was mir fast ein bisschen peinlich war. Für unseren Aufenthalt haben sie uns wertvolle Tipps gegeben, was in Êtretat selbst und in der näheren Umgebung besuchenswert ist. Das Tüpfelchen aufs i war, dass im Wohnzimmer auf dem äusseren Fensterbrett ein Silbermöwenpaar ihre soeben geschlüpften Jungen aufzog. Dies wird uns stets in Erinnerung bleiben. Allen, die dem pittoresken Städtchen Êtretat und der Umgebung einen Besuch abstatten wollen, können wir das Castel de La Terrasse von ganzem Herzen empfehlen.
