Nestled in the heart of the Côtes de Bourg vineyard, in the commune of Gauriac, on the right bank of the Gironde Estuary, L'Escale de Bel Air is an old 19th century residence. Its ideal location will allow you to discover Blaye and its citadel, the Corniche road and its squares, the village of Bourg-sur-Gironde but also Saint-Emilion, Bordeaux. A ferry will take you to the banks of the Médoc to discover the châteaux of the appellation, but also the ocean beaches, as far as the Bassin d'Arcachon and the Dune du Pyla. On site, you will enjoy a 4,000 m² wooded park, a pleasant salt pool in summer and the terrace where Carole, your host, serves breakfast. Calypso and Joshua rooms have direct access to the garden while Manureva and L'Heure Bleue are on the first floor.

Un accueil chaleureux et bienveillant.
Pour la deuxième année consécutive et toujours un plaisir d y revenir,nous attendons toujours avec impatience ce weekend de travail/détente.
Un vrai coup de cœur pour ce lieu et ces merveilleux hôtes !
Le cadre est merveilleux : maison superbe, jardin paisible, splendide, chambre magnifique !
Carole et Jean Michel sont adorables et aux petits soins pour faire de notre séjour une parenthèse enchantée
Le petit déjeuner quant à lui est tout simplement sublime : plein de bonnes choses faites maison (des cannelés, tuiles, confitures avec les fruits du jardin salade de fruits frais), du jambon, fromage , et différentes variétés de pains.

Idéalement situé pour visiter la Citadelle de Blaye, Bordeaux, Bourg, ....de très bons conseils de nos hôtes pour les restaurants et choses à faire..
