Bed and breakfast with swimming pool, terrace and park in the heart of the Côtes de Bourg vineyards, in Gauriac.

Nestled in the heart of the Côtes de Bourg vineyard, in the commune of Gauriac, on the right bank of the Gironde Estuary, L'Escale de Bel Air is an old 19th century residence. Its ideal location will allow you to discover Blaye and its citadel, the Corniche road and its squares, the village of Bourg-sur-Gironde but also Saint-Emilion, Bordeaux. A ferry will take you to the banks of the Médoc to discover the châteaux of the appellation, but also the ocean beaches, as far as the Bassin d'Arcachon and the Dune du Pyla. On site, you will enjoy a 4,000 m² wooded park, a pleasant salt pool in summer and the terrace where Carole, your host, serves breakfast. Calypso and Joshua rooms have direct access to the garden while Manureva and L'Heure Bleue are on the first floor.

Nous avons testé un certain nombre de chambres d’hôtes autour de Gauriac et l’Escale de Bel Air est véritablement ce qui se fait de mieux. Nous nous y arrêtons deux fois tous les deux mois depuis 2020 et on ne changerait pour rien au monde. Les chambres sont spacieuses, confortables et d’une propreté exemplaire. Le petit déjeuner pantagruélique dépasse les espérances. L’accueil est aussi un élément qui nous pousse à revenir dans cesse.

Nous avons passé un weekend délicieux dans une une maison de charme avec des chambres décorées avec goût,vastes , et bien équipées. Le grand jardin a un côté romantique avec un kiosque fleuri de roses et une piscine qui donne envie de s'y prélasser. Enfin je remercie chaleureusement les hôtes qui nous ont accueillis comme si nous étions des amis et nous ont fourni moult informations sur les points d'intérêt de la région.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in diesem charmanten Ferienappartement in einem liebevoll restaurierten alten Haus. Der wunderschön angelegte Garten mit gemütlichen Sitzecken lädt zum Verweilen und Entspannen ein.

Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die herzliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin – man fühlt sich sofort willkommen und bestens umsorgt. Das Frühstück war ein echtes Highlight: eine tolle Auswahl an Wurst, Käse, hausgemachter Marmelade, frischem Obstsalat und frisch zubereiteten Eierspeisen. Rundum empfehlenswert – wir kommen gerne wieder!
