This superb Italian-style residence is furnished with paintings and tapestries acquired by the Albuféra family.

Once dubbed the "Écrin Normand", this architectural treasure was built in 1723 by Marshal de Belle-Isle. Nobles and monarchs stayed here over the centuries. The sumptuous stables, designed by Coutant d'Ivry in 1740, and the English-style park, witness to a bygone era of splendor, remain. Its majestic fountains, cascades and pools evoke the grandeur of yesteryear. The present building, dating from 1858, is an elegant villa of Italian inspiration. Its interior, adorned with paintings and tapestries, was furnished by the Albuféra family.

Sehr schönes Schloss mit einer sehr interessanten Geschichte und einem sehr schönen Park .Wir wurden sehr freundlich auf deutsch empfangen. Mein besonderer Dank geht an Madame Nicole ,die die Führung in französisch gehalten hat und für uns noch direkt ins Deutsche übersetzt hat,da wir eine ganz kleine Gruppe waren.

Magnifique château et parc splendide , le parc de 80 hectares est entretenu que par 2 personnes bravo c'est du super boulot . L'intérieur du château est splendide juste 4 pièces a voir (car le reste est occupé par la propriétaire) mais ça vis vraiment le coup . La guide est au top vraiment sympathique et elle connait très bien son sujet encore bravo et hâte de le voir avec les bassins qui seront réparés .

Les gens sont vraiment très accueillants et gentils.On est arrivées à la fin de l'heure de la visite avec ma fille et malgré tout une dame nous a fait une visite du château avec professionnalisme et gentillesse..Le château est magnifique.Je recommande
