Just 25 minutes from Bordeaux, in the heart of the vineyards and on the remains of the former Espiet quarry, the blue lake on the Terres Blanches site is very "Instagramable". But this comes at a price, and it's best to book online. On site, picnicking is not allowed, as there is a restaurant (remember to book there too), but you can freely leave the site. Massages, spa, water skiing, wakeboarding, swimming lessons, mini club, cabins for rent (2-3 bedrooms)... It's a beautiful place, but you sometimes regret being touch and go on the lake beach.

Concernant la plage, oui elle est payante mais je préfère payer mon entrée plutôt que de faire 2h de route pour aller à l’océan… C’est une ancienne carrière, forcément qu’il y a des cailloux ????????♀️ je ne comprends pas les avis négatifs !!!
