Accommodation with PRM-accessible rooms and excellent breakfasts in Giverny.
On the heights of Giverny, between plains and forests, take a break in this sumptuous residence, built with 18th-century materials. The 5 rooms, including one accessible to the disabled, are hushed and spacious, with decor inspired by the Age of Enlightenment. Be sure to look up in the corridors to admire the many paintings of Giverny. The breakfast is a reflection of the place: delicate, generous and of excellent quality.

Would absolutely recommend.
L’accueil des hôtes est très chaleureux !
Room: Clean and comfortable with lots of space. The shower was clean with no water pressure or hot water issues.
Dining room: Exquisite and inviting. On each side there were tables laid out with special treats ~ just waiting for someone to enjoy! And in the morning, it all came alive with an assortment of fresh bread, cheeses, coffee, tea, meats, etc.
Breakfast: Delicious. Valerie offered every guest eggs.
Minus. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing.
Good to know. When you arrive at the property you will come to a gate. We got out of the car and walked around it and flagged someone who was in the garage. No biggie. Just mentioning so you don’t sit in the car and start honking!
Fact: We spent 10 days in France and every one of them was very nice and good. BUT, with everyone one we said, “It sure ain’t Valerie’s.” (Valerie runs La Manoir)
Worthy to mention: As I was admiring all the furnishings, Valerie approached me with her sweet smile. “Would you like some cider?” I happily accepted. “Inside or outside?” Outside, she brought us a bottle of homemade cider that needed its top popped like champaign! Then she came back with a freshly baked tart that she had just made. Enough for all 4 of us. What a surprise it was!
