An association that lets you discover cities in a different way, with scouts who show different neighborhoods in their own way.

L'Alternative Urbaine is an association under the French law of 1901 that makes people discover cities in a different way. It does not employ guides, but scouts. These are people who are unemployed. They follow a two-month professional training course, then they are paid to lead walks. Bordeaux has a dozen scouts who show people around the city in their own way, in small groups to preserve the conviviality and exchange of ideas.

Je suis allée faire une visite urbaine sur Bègles, visite très intéressante.
J'ai passé un bon moment, hélas le soleil n'était pas au rendez vous, dommage pour nous.
Je recommande cette association.

Beau moment convivial et enrichissant que cette visite du quartier Claveau, New York, en compagnie de deux accompagnateurs Frédérique et Joanne. Un retour sur l'histoire de ce quartier, de son évolution. Une impression de campagne au coeur de la ville. A découvrir absolument.
