Museum adjoining Notre-Dame Cathedral, housing a superb archaeological collection.

Adjacent to Notre-Dame Cathedral, the museum was inaugurated in 1873, following excavations in the village of Vieil-Évreux. The establishment thus created was a forerunner in archaeological research as a scientific discipline and in heritage protection. Today, the museum's superb archaeological collection is made up of objects found during the excavation campaigns undertaken throughout the 19th century!

Très beau musée, à visage humain. On y est très bien reçu et ça participe beaucoup d'une visite très agréable. A découvrir absolument ainsi que la cathédrale

Je ne peux juger de la qualité de l'exposition. L'accès pmr n'est accessible uniquement de l'intérieur. Malgré un respect des horaires d'ouvertures, personne n'a répondu.
