Adjacent to Notre-Dame Cathedral, the museum was inaugurated in 1873, following excavations in the village of Vieil-Évreux. The establishment thus created was a forerunner in archaeological research as a scientific discipline and in heritage protection. Today, the museum's superb archaeological collection is made up of objects found during the excavation campaigns undertaken throughout the 19th century!

Ce musée nous en apprend beaucoup sur la ville sur les époques traversées par celle-ci de plus et il est gratuit, je recommande vivement de faire cette sortie en famille tout le monde pourra en apprendre

Musée gratuit avec une jolie collection qui traverse les diverses époques de la ville. Et de très beaux meubles anciens un peu tout le long qui ne sont pas seulement utilisés comme tables ou présentoirs mais ont aussi leur propre histoire.
