At Château Peybonhomme-les-Tours, wine is a family affair. Winegrowers for six generations, the Huberts settled in Cars in 1895, on a vineyard in the Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux appellation. Today, Catherine, Jean-Luc, Rachel and Guillaume, all passionate about wine and biodynamics, run the estate. The Chéty family have been winegrowers for 5 generations. They took possession of Château Haut Colombier in the early 1990s. The estate is located on a hill in the Blayais region, with a view over the Gironde estuary. Olivier and Emmanuel have taken over from their father Jean, and are now masterfully managing the family estate. The 40-hectare vineyard is organically farmed and produces great Bordeaux wines: 2 AOC blaye-côtes-de-bordeaux reds, Envol du Château Haut Colombier and Château Colombier, 1 AOC blaye-côtes-de-bordeaux white 100% sauvignon, Cuvée du Colombier red and 1 rosé, Clairet (AOC bordeaux-clairet).

Located in Cars, near Bordeaux, Château Bel-Air La Royère is a 14-hectare vineyard run by Corinne Chevrier, who continues her family's tradition of excellence in wine production. The estate benefits from old vines with concentrated juices, and Corinne doesn't hesitate to reintroduce the Malbec grape variety to create elegant, racy wines. Visitors can book a tasting session to discover the estate's wines. Tasting times vary according to the season, with afternoon slots available. Guided tours are also available, from 3:00 to 4:30 pm.
