JARDIN DU 700E
Created in 2007 to mark the 700th anniversary of the Belfort Charter of Franchise, this small garden is a pleasant, bucolic spot in the heart of the town. Comprising a courtly garden, a cloister garden and a simple square garden, it is also home to an imposing horse chestnut tree with its fragrant flowers, and a Henry lime tree. The latter is named after Augustine Henry, and was planted to commemorate the 70th anniversary of women's suffrage. From the garden, you can also enjoy a view of the Place des Arts and its amphitheatre.
