Already known in antiquity for its curative virtues on the inflammation of the eyes, the source, located near the old cemetery, was christened the source of Saint Ambroise in the Time of Christianity. After the discovery of a small Gallo-Roman aqueduct some years ago, the municipality decided to place the site in value: The water was channeled and a open made of pink sandstone was constructed to host the statue of Saint Ambroise.
