This apothecary, located in a former convent, is one of the largest in the Franche-Comté region
Located in a former 17th-century convent that became a hospital in the 19th century, this apothecary is one of the largest in Franche-Comté. The large vaulted room, decorated with trompe-l'œil, is impressive in its size. It houses a large collection of jars - over 300 from different periods, including chevrettes, piluliers, canons... A small room, once reserved for hospital patients, contains furniture dating from the 17th and 18th centuries, including a fine herbalist's cabinet and a collection of antique pewter.
