LE SAFRAN PHENIX

In a wonderful little square box, illustrated by Sophie Lecuyer, is kept a treasure! The Phoenix Saffron ! Cultivated manually and in the respect of the environment, in a rich clay soil, this crocus is delighted in the rustic Jura. In autumn comes the time of flowering... and of the harvest which is practiced at dawn. The precious pistils are then dried the same day. Saffron offers its culinary and medicinal virtues: we already dream of a risotto or a crème brûlée! You can also discover it in syrup.
