Fabien and Guillaume are a pair of cheese-makers with unique expertise. They make their comtés at their Pont-du-Navoy dairy, some of which are organic. You can discover a range of comtés, morbiers and tommes du Jura, as well as a whole selection of local products. A second store is located in the village of Montrond, about 30 minutes away: Au Chalet Modèle. Every Thursday, you can book a visit with the cheese-makers, who will show you around the workshop and the cheese-making process.

Nous avons l habitude d aller à Montrond et on voulait tester pont du Navoy ; J avais regardé les autres avis et je trouvais ça énorme que les produits achetés ne correspondaient pas aux produits dégustés et bien c est bien réel le comté fruité acheté était insipide et visiblement bien jeune et n avait rien à voir avec celui dégusté goûteux et bien fruité !!! Le vieux morbier lui correspondait et était délicieux.
On pousse à la vente avec 500 gr de plus que ce que je voulais c est très très bizarre !!!bref Montrond est bien au dessus dommage !

We bought 12 months old comté and morbier doux, both were incredibly good. We also bought baguette ( yes, it’s not cheese ) and eggs. The baguette was the best we can remember! We did not try the eggs yet, but, I am sure they will be as delicious as the cheese and the bread. I must mention as well the service; very warm, welcoming and helpful. I wish we had the shop like this in our village
