A pleasant park with a carriage museum and a lovely estate in Bourg, a good place for a picnic or a stroll.

The park of the Citadel of Bourg is a very pleasant place, with its museum of the carriage and its pretty domain. It is a pleasure to come there for a picnic or to enjoy the panorama on the Gironde estuary and the small port of Bourg. Designed as a French garden, it is pleasant to walk among the paths lined with shrubs, the old greenhouses still visible and the many varieties of flowers. In this prestigious setting, you can visit the museum and its large collection of 19th century horse-drawn carriages.
