The Place du Parlement, built in homage to the Parliament of Bordeaux, is a historic place animated by its bars, shops and restaurants. By taking the Fernand-Philippart street, you will see the beautiful string of Louis XV houses. When you arrive at the former Place du Marché-Royal, you will notice the splendid facades. The high windows are surmounted by magnificent mascarons and clasps, all different. In the centre, a Second Empire fountain built in 1865 by the architect Louis Garros is enthroned. The square is registered as a historical monument.
