Cultural center dedicated to contemporary art, with Bernard Magrez's private works and concerts, vernissages, workshops.

To share his passion for contemporary and street art, businessman and oenologist Bernard Magrez has embarked on an artistic patronage program, creating this institute within Château Labottière. Each room has been renovated to respect the original spirit of the place, with panelling, tassel chandeliers and fireplaces. It is in this little jewel that exceptional works from Bernard Magrez's private collection and temporary exhibitions are presented.

Open weekends from 1pm to 6pm. Free for children under 12. Adults: €10. Children (aged 12 to 25): €6. Reduced rate: €8. Subscription: €150 (solo) to €250 (duo). Free previews (on reservation). Guided tour (4:40 pm to 6 pm). Gift store. Animations. Workshops for children and adults. Conferences.

Owner's Message

Bernard Magrez has given the Cultural Institute the mission to carry out actions in favor of creation and artists with a program of multidisciplinary events spread over four prestigious properties: Château Pape Clément, Château Fombrauge, Château La Tour Carnet and Château Labottière. Placing the artist and artistic creation at the heart of its ambitions, it contributes to the access of works of excellence to the greatest number of people and is also committed to supporting young talents by welcoming them in residence and by organizing each year a Grand Prix rewarding laureates in the fields of fine arts, literature or music.

New on Bordeaux: nice and original exhibitions that change every 3 months, a white elephant life-size! a painting by Picasso ......... in a magnificent castle, a must to discover for art lovers.
