This gothic basilica built at the end of the 14th century, is located in the heart of the Saint-Michel district

At the heart of the Saint-Michel district is a Gothic basilica built at the end of the 14th century. Fourteen side chapels line its sides and represent the different guilds that financed its construction (roofers, carpenters, mercers, sailors, salt measurers, merchants, pilgrims from Santiago de Compostela). The monument has a crypt - a must-see. The basilica is registered on the list of the world inheritance by the UNESCO under the title of the Ways of Santiago de Compostela, just like Saint-Seurin and Saint-André.

A voir, surtout la flèche
Basilique Saint Michel située dans le quartier du même nom. La flèche de la basilique est située juste en face et peut se visiter.

à voir avec la flêche
Si vous êtes venu pour voir la flèche st Michel ne manquez pas de visiter la basilique juste à côté, de plus sur votre cheminement de visite pédestre de Bordeaux cela fait pas partie des incontournables Il y a de belles orgues, des petites chapelles et quelques beaux vitraux
