A playful reception area open to all: this is the promise of the Kfé des familles, installed in the Bacalan district. The principle? To offer parents the opportunity to meet each other. A real bridge between school and home, the café is both an association and a public place, open to all in a spirit of social diversity. Here, people help each other to look after the little ones, and offer activities according to the skills of each person (cooking, gardening, sign language...). Most of them are free for the members. The more technical workshops, such as plastic arts, are offered on a yearly basis and are not free of charge. In addition to the relaxation area and bar, the kfé house is also equipped to welcome the youngest with an area for early learning and motor skills, not forgetting a reading corner and free games for the 2-6 year olds, and a workshop room for manual activities. Events, parties, outings and table d'hôtes are also on the programme.
