In Bordeaux, the Charles Dickens is an institution. The pub offers unique and original beers brewed: blondes, redheads, brunettes, Jamaican beers, bottled beers... You're sure to find what you're looking for! The layout allows large groups as well as couples to find a suitable table. You will be served by a friendly and dynamic team, organizing typical evenings such as quizzes and darts competitions. The Charles Dickens is highly appreciated for its beautiful terrace in the heart of the quays. Open almost all afternoon, the establishment is very nice, also for a short break over coffee, tea or irish coffee.

Le double Ricard qui est dilué par le serveur sans demander qui plus est ressemblant à un simple était vraiment trop dilué
Cependant le personnel est super sympa et l’ambiance cool donc semi recommandation si vous buvez du Ricard

The Charles Dickens is a cozy pub that offers a classic British pub experience right in the heart of Bordeaux. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxed evening with friends or a casual dinner. The menu features a good variety of hearty dishes and a nice selection of drinks, including some great ales. The food is comforting and well-prepared, though the service can sometimes be a bit slow during busy times. Overall, it’s a lovely spot for a laid-back meal or drink, with an authentic pub vibe.
