Paul Gouzien set up his Opus 34, created in 2020, on rue porte de la monnaie, then within the TnBA (ex-Café du théâtre). And that makes it a real artists' HQ! Opened before and after theater performances,Opus 34 is a bright and beautiful place, with a stage for Op'N'Mic events, a large bar and a terrace under the trees near the Sainte-Croix church. The area is particularly pleasant. Here, you can enjoy ultra-worked simonettes to share. At lunchtime, Opus 34 is a veritable canteen, with a menu priced at 15 euros.

Dernièrement, j’ai testé leurs avocado toasts façon tacos, et grosse surprise : c’est super bon, original, bien assaisonné, et ça change des versions classiques un peu fades qu’on voit ailleurs.
Et la burrata… une tuerie. Ultra crémeuse, bien servie, avec des petits accompagnements qui relèvent le tout sans en faire trop.
Bref, une carte qui évolue mais qui reste au top. J’y retourne toujours avec plaisir.
