How do you get past the Grand Bar Castan? Known for its rockery decor and opened in 1890 by M. Castan himself, it is one of the city's historic bars. With its Art Nouveau style, it contributes to the beauty of the docks' facade. A few details - tinplate furniture, lighting, toilets in a contemporary style - create a fusion between yesterday and today... The renovated quays, the view over the Garonne, a large terrace, some tapas at the end of the afternoon: it's a nice place to have a drink with friends or to enjoy a croque-monsieur followed by a good pancake with Nutella. And for those with a sweet tooth, enjoy the wide choice of ice cream at the Glacier du Castan, just next door

Le serveur gentil malgré tout

L’attente est interminable pour commander, j’ai du me lever 2 fois pour espérer avoir ce que j’avais commandé.
Le service est juste inexistant, incapable de porter des verres…
Après avoir reçu notre bouteille, nous avons du la debouchonner nous même pour éviter 10min d’attente supplémentaire.
Bref juste catastrophique
J’en ai parlé au serveur et apparemment ça n’a pas eu l’air de choquer alors que je trouve ça un peu choquant de vendre un produit aux alentours de 4€ avec ce service, le tout, sans s’en rendre compte.
Malgré tout, la terrasse est agréable ainsi que les sièges.
Prix excessivement chers pour le service proposé.
