Theaters Bordeaux

Since 1998, the Théâtre privé des Salinières has been entertaining the Bordelais in the heart of the old town. Nearly 25 years of history, 280 red seats, 30,000 spectators every year, some twenty plays per season... The Théâtre des Salinières is also a troupe of actors who regularly go on tour to present the greatest successful French comedies. During the school vacations, shows for children aged 4 to 12 are offered during the day: an opportunity for the whole family to enjoy themselves and share a passion for theater.

In 1990, the Théâtre du Port de la Lune was inaugurated. In 2003, major renovations were undertaken, adding two new halls and four rehearsal studios (each measuring 100 m²). In 2004, the theater was renamed Théâtre national de Bordeaux en Aquitaine (TnBA). On site: three halls and numerous productions and co-productions (theater, dance, music, children's theater, circus...). A major cultural venue in Bordeaux to discover with the whole family!

Created in 1921, the Fémina enjoyed its first hours of glory as a cinema. The first major refurbishments took place in the 1970s: the facade and lobby were given a facelift, the seats were upholstered in red velvet... At the same time, the stage was extended, as were the dressing rooms and orchestra pit. The program is varied, with theater, comedy, music, dance... Over the coming months, Bordeaux residents will be able to applaud a host of artists: Nora Hamzawi, Camille, Aldebert...

Guignol Guérin has been entertaining children and their parents since 1853. It is the oldest family of puppeteer-guignolists in France, now in its sixth generation. Shows take place all year round in the Parc Bordelais, depending of course on the weather. To mark its ^170th anniversary, the Guignol Guérin will be exhibiting part of its puppet collection at the Hôtel Ragueneau in Bordeaux from September 15 to 25, 2023. It will also present its history and offer traditional and interactive shows for young and old alike.

Opened in January 2018, the Théâtre des Beaux-Arts is a vibrant space for creation. The room, warm and intimate, hosts an eclectic program throughout the year, in order to surprise an audience of curious or regulars: comedies, one-man shows, dramatic plays... Local and regional companies present their latest creations. The place can also be privatized, for companies looking for a truly original and atypical setting to organize cocktails, meetings, trainings or parties.
