The Hotel de Normandie is located in the city centre of Bordeaux, between the allées de Tourny, the Grand Théâtre and the quays. A beautiful area that shows us the city of the 18th century. The quays, the Garonne river and the main monuments of the city are nearby. In front of the windows of this exceptional hotel, you can admire the famous Esplanade des Quinconces, one of the largest squares in Europe. Inside, the decoration is a clever mix between retro and modern styles; very elegant, it offers you calm and serenity. The rooms on the 5th and 6th floors are a pure marvel. Far from the hustle and bustle of the city with terraces and balconies in front, these spacious and bright rooms boast stunning views over the rooftops of Bordeaux and the Garonne River. Seminars can be organised for groups of up to 25 people. This beautiful hotel has already been used as a backdrop for some television and cinema shoots. Highlight: a 24-hour delay is observed between two room reservations and breakfast is served only in the room and more in the restaurant.

ボルドー観光局の対面にあり、ボルドーのまさに中心にあるので利便性については言うことなしです。トラムの駅からも徒歩1分程（もかからない）、繁華街もすぐ、大通り沿いのため夜も明るい中帰ってこれるので1人でも怖くありません。ワイナリーツアーの発着場所も徒歩2．3分の場所。
【設備】
クローゼットは大きめで高さもあり、コートも十分にかけられますしたくさん荷物が入れられます。
大きなスーツケースも余裕で広げられ、それでも歩くスペースもあり窮屈さは全く感じません。部屋そのものの広さと言うよりも間取りがとても使い勝手の良い構造です。

・シャワー●（しっかり温水が出て水量もバッチリ）
・アメニティ●（フランスDAMANA製、ジュニパーのコンディショニングシャンプーは泡立ちが良い、セージのシャワージェルはクミンの香りがして苦手、石鹸は良い香りのオリーブオイルで洗顔もスッキリ、歯ブラシはなし）

欲を言えばサービスの部分が気になるところもありますが、何より部屋が明るいのが良いです。ベッドの壁側の色がレモン色、ライトも落ち着く暖色系でありながら数が多く明るさの調整可能。
1月下旬〜2月は朝も8時まで真っ暗で、8時になると急に明るくなり出しますが、起きて活動の準備をするのにもフランスの多くのホテルの暗さではままなりません。こちらの明るい部屋であれば起きてからの準備ができて、明るい頃にはすぐに活動を始められます。とても簡素で豪華さはありませんが機能的。
次回ボルドーに来る際はこちらをリピートかインターコンチネンタルかの2択と思う。
