Rooms with terrace and balcony in a hotel in Bordeaux near the Garonne river and offering the organization of seminars.

The Hotel de Normandie is located in the city centre of Bordeaux, between the allées de Tourny, the Grand Théâtre and the quays. A beautiful area that shows us the city of the 18th century. The quays, the Garonne river and the main monuments of the city are nearby. In front of the windows of this exceptional hotel, you can admire the famous Esplanade des Quinconces, one of the largest squares in Europe. Inside, the decoration is a clever mix between retro and modern styles; very elegant, it offers you calm and serenity. The rooms on the 5th and 6th floors are a pure marvel. Far from the hustle and bustle of the city with terraces and balconies in front, these spacious and bright rooms boast stunning views over the rooftops of Bordeaux and the Garonne River. Seminars can be organised for groups of up to 25 people. This beautiful hotel has already been used as a backdrop for some television and cinema shoots. Highlight: a 24-hour delay is observed between two room reservations and breakfast is served only in the room and more in the restaurant.

Chambres à refaire totalement. Sent le renfermé. Moquette sale. Tours de fenêtres moisis. VMC ne fonctionne pas . Vieille baignoire et robinetterie avec un accès difficile et pas de poignée pour se tenir. Petit déjeuner très limité avec des produits de mauvaise qualité. Jus pas frais. Charcuterie et fromages bas de gamme avec aucun choix.Fruits au sirop des boîtes de conserve idem pour la compote de pomme. Œufs brouillés brûlés. Cuillères des pots de confiture collantes de confiture… bref. Il n’y a que l’emplacement qui est bien.

You cannot get a better placed hotel in a city centre, the major tram hub is across the road at Quinconces and is about 50meters away.|The hotel has parks on 2 sides, park Tourney and park Quinconces, which between March to October has a funfair residing on it and is called Foire aux Plaisirs (google or YouTube it).|There is a plethora of restaurants within walking distance or a 4 minute tram ride away, depending where you want to eat.||The hotel it’s self is well appointed, it only provides breakfast. Probably due to all the different restaurants near by.|The rooms are a reasonable size, it is clean and warm. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. We where in a room that overlooked the tram station and funfair and at NO time did we experience any unwanted noise. The bed is firm and comfortable and that’s about it.||Car parking is off site and situated underground at park Tourney, there is a lift and is located again, about 50 meters from the hotel.||This hotel is ideal for tourists that will be out and about, as we found out.

Great séjour in this beautiful room for our Anniversary. I love that it is in the most exclusive side of town. It’s close to every shops I loved. The bedding is really confortable. The bathroom was spacious and we had 2 closets to organize ourselves. The buffet breakfast is great and for every taste. The only star lost is the noise at night on the weekend from the nightclub across the street. We like to leave a window open but we couldn’t because of that. Otherwise everything was great!
