Le Puy Paulin is the café-restaurant that we recommend to all those who wish to discover the cuisine of the South-West. At first glance, the charm is already there. The interior is not lacking in character with its authentic decoration. In the plate, you can enjoy Blaye's asparagus, Chalosse's foie gras and David Hervé's oysters. French beef and bistro dishes are in the spotlight: Basque loin of pork, Breton monkfish steak, braised chuck, butcher's piece? Before the sweet delicacies, you can enjoy an assortment of cheeses from Deruelle's, then finish off with a homemade pastry: tarte Tatin and thick cream or Russian cream with Puy Paulin praline.

Awful people. I'm French and from the area. My husband is British. We stopped there to have a coffee and a short rest after walking around all morning. We were only the 2 of us and we didn't feel welcome at all. Staff were borderline rude and acted like they were doing us a favour. We didn't hang around. Won't go back. Never felt so unwelcome.

De passage pour boire un verre avec des amis. Serveuse très souriante et avec beaucoup d'humour.

On nous accepte pour boire un verre et prendre une planche comme le propose la carte. On s installe puis 3 personnes arrivent et la serveuse nous dit : j ai besoin de la table. Nous étions 5 dont 3 enfants. C est honteux.... mal élevé.
