Dishes changing every day in a restaurant in Bordeaux offering a mix of world flavours.
It's a bit like the place to be at the beginning of the Chartrons quay. If you haven't booked, there's no chance to sit your butt, even half, on the slightest little piece of chair. It must be said that the address has everything to please: an original decoration that recalls the cave of Lascaux in Périgord, a restaurant for lunch and dinner, a cocktail bar at night and a cosy but not stilted atmosphere. Behind this concept 4 friends: Lucas, Thomas, Simon and Félix who is in the kitchen. The dishes, which change every day, give in the variation of the flavours of the world where marriages that might seem surprising are always very successful like this octopus lacquered with fermented mirabelle plum, capucine emulsion, cream of peas and butter bean pods that left us speechless as a starter or this fillet of grilled beef, juice with brandy of walnuts from Carthusian fathers, cauliflower, beans and chanterelles that bluffed us, not to mention dessert: a swim of red fruits in a broth with Dom Benedictine and yuzu, Thai basil ice cream, frangipane cream with honey. We come out stunned by so much audacity so well mastered.
Un restaurant à faire (et refaire) absolument quand on est de passage à Bordeaux.
