Fantastique découverte, nous aurions voulu mettre 6 étoiles. Lieu épuré et moderne. Un grand merci à la patronne qui réserve un accueil chaleureux. Très avenante, elle est souriante et nous communique son plaisir des produits et de son métier. Bravo au chef pour la cuisine, nous avons tout apprécié, de l'apéritif au dessert avec d'agréables associations. Merci pour l'umami ! Belle dégustation de vins, cocktail délicat et épicé. Restaurant pour une belle occasion car c'est onéreux mais nous recommandons.

We were able to snag a last minute reservation on a Sunday evening shortly after arriving in Bordeaux. This is a roomy restaurant for France, with large canvas paintings on the walls and lots of light.

The restaurant warns on the website it is a "surprise menu", so we arrived expecting this, and chose the 5 course meal with the wine pairing.

Our courses were all beautifully prepared and presented, and included two courses of fish, one duck and local vegetables followed by two desserts. Several amuse bouche were also offered before the meal, which were delicious.

Wine pairings were mostly local with the exception of a Sauternes for dessert and a Chablis with the main fish course.

Overall this was a great dining experience, though a little costly compared to our other meals here.
