Champagnes from around the world, tapas, fine dishes in an old-star restaurant in Bordeaux.
This address was a starry establishment in the 1980 s, everyone knew Old Bordeaux. From the Garonne sank under the bridges and the address changed several times hands and name. Today Samuel and Timothée, who have not misled in every sense of the word, make it reliably revive according to the hours of day and night. The bar is pretty well filled with a card that sweeps wines, beers, champagnes, alcohols, cocktails, from here and from the world. For the aperitif a few hot and cold tapas and chewing boards and cheeses. Pascal Ventura restaurant prepares dishes all in fine, where the product always boasts a little more which sublime: the artichoke on its bed of fresh cheese, caramelized almonds, crusts and crisp herbs, is fresh and tasty; the back of wild cod from the North Atlantic, from tetragone - a distant cousin of spinach - and picquillos oil is just as happy. We end with a roast pineapple with coco spices and ice. Some dishes are offered in two sizes, a very good idea for small faims…
