Tastefully decorated and with a beautiful and pleasant terrace overlooking the Porte Cailhau, the Chiocchio also seduces the palate with its generous and gourmet Italian cuisine. The menu changes regularly and the chef proposes a different dish every day. If pasta is the house specialty, the menu also offers recipes with a southern accent. Bien que la cuisine ait été de qualité, l'atmosphère a été ruinée dès le début par l'accueil décevant de la serveuse, qui s'est montrée froide et peu aimable tout le long de notre déjeuner. Cela a malheureusement terni notre expérience et ne nous encourage pas à revisiter l'établissement. Dommage.

CLAIREMENT LE MEILLEUR RESTO DE BORDEAUX !
8ème fois que j’y vais. Toujours aussi délicieux. Dîner comme déjeuner. J’en ai fait des restos sur Bordeaux. Mais celui-là … Il ne paie pas de mine et donne à être encore plus connu et reconnu.
Mon critère d’appréciation principal reste la cuisine : le carpaccio de poulpe est magique, les pâtes (recettes qui évoluent au fil des saisons) divines, le tiramisu incroyable, la carte des vins variée et soignée.
Un service aux petits soins, une ambiance cosy, une localisation centrale (place du palais/porte Cailhau).
Chiocchio mériterait vraiment une étoile. Courrez-y !
