Greek restaurant near Place Saint-Pierre in Bordeaux offering eggplant caviar or lamb in olive oil.

With its blue shutter façade, the Aphrodite restaurant takes us to Greece! On the menu, the dishes smell of the Mediterranean. To start, we suggest you share some starters. Our preference? The saganaki, grilled feta cheese with olive oil, tomatoes and peppers. A delight to be served with pita bread. As for the dishes, the chef prepares the typical specialities, including the unavoidable moussaka or the Cretan-style brochettes of filet mignon. The dishes are copious but lack flavour. The meal ends on a good note: the simplicity of a Greek yogurt with honey.

A truly 5 star experience. Our waiter Mr Takis was amazing. We got the Xtapodosalata ( octopus salad) and the tzatziki which where just amazing and perfectly seasoned. For main dishes we got the souvlaki and Octopus which where predented very gourmet-ish. They where perfectly cooked and seasoned. The atmosphere was amazing with greek music and greek design on the walls as well as traditional chairs and tables. The servers where amazing especially Mr Takis who speaks Greek. I would love to come again and try more dishes!

5 star everything. Dishes were full of color and flavor, i strongly recommend a full course meal, from appetizers to dessert. We had the opportunity to try a variety of them and none of them disappoint.
I got the Souvlaki and i did not expect it to be such a elegant dish, typically in Cyprus when you order the Souvlaki it’s the Souvlaki kalamaki accompanied with french fries and pita, i appreciate the gourmet-ish approach on every dish.
Tzatziki (which i believe it’s homemade) was so tasty.
The octopus was so creamy and soft.
Souvlaki was perfectly cooked.
We also got the Xtapodosalata (octopus salad) i just wish the portion was a bit bigger for its price.
For dessert we got the baklava, classic and flavorful.
Can’t wait to visit again and try more things!!

Nous avons partagé 3 entrées pour commencer, puis nous avons chacune pris un plat et un dessert.
Tout était très bon et le service très sympathique.

Restaurant de l’extérieur peu engageant mais c'est divin.... Une carte typique Grecque et délicieuse, un personnel attentif et soigneux, des produits frais... Au plaisir de revenir ;)

Un cadre magnifique, intimiste, agréable.
L'accueil excellent, des personnes très agréables et un service rapide.
Et alors des assiettes magnifique, gourmandes autant pour les yeux que pour les papilles. Une assiettes pleines de saveurs nous nous sommes régaler.
