LA DJAF
Restaurant run by a Togolese woman and a Chadian woman in Bordeaux offering beef with broken rice or marinated chicken.
Dela Logo, of Togolese origin, is in the kitchen, and her partner Tyssem, from Chad, is in the dining room. They created La Dajaf which means good food. Dela had held L'Ptite Afrik, rue Buhan, which she sold to a compatriot. It left more beautiful with its typical spicy dishes but not too much to suit everyone's tastes. The map is very simple. The famous mafé, beef with peanut butter sauce served with broken rice and plantain bananas is a must. Other specialities: yassa, a chicken recipe marinated with lemon juice, a small sauce with olives, onions and mustard or braised chicken. Tyssem takes care of the desserts to treat us to a chocolate or coconut pie. To drink we choose a Flag, a fairly light Ivorian beer or some homemade arranged rums. The decoration is warm, colourful and the tables are covered with pretty batik tablecloths
