Traditional south-western cuisine, homemade with fresh produce, offering a full menu for lunch and dinner at low prices.

Between the Place de la Bourse and the Place du Parlement, the Café des Gourmets is the ideal stop-off for bon vivants. This charming establishment with its timeless decor offers traditional Southwestern cuisine, homemade with fresh produce. The flavors of the region, between terroir and tradition, can be found on the menu: foie gras seasoned with Sauternes, duck parmentier confit, crème brûlée with salted butter caramel... Gourmet delights abound, and the extensive and varied wine list is a reminder that we are indeed in the Bordeaux region!

The food was awful.
I took the menu of 24 € with starter, main course and dessert but none of them was good. The « tartare de thon » had too much avocado on the top and hid the tuna’s taste. The « faux fillet au poivre vert » was the worst I have ever eaten: the meat had plenty of nerves and the sauce did not contain even one pepper grain. The last dish was the famous « crème brûlée » but unfortunately the crème was too liquid and cold!!
