It is not always easy to live without a car or with just one for the whole family, and even more difficult to pay a vehicle and insurance. If you have a temporary need, Citiz is the solution. It is a rental service nearby that allows you to rent a car for a customized duration (one hour, one night, a weekend...). You must first of all be a member, and then you can book your car by phone or Internet. The rest is simply a breeze. Once in one of the parks, the opening of any car is controlled by a personal badge that is given to you and that will also keep track of your expenses that will be settled once a month. 50 vehicles are currently in circulation with a choice of Renault Twingo, Clio and Kangoo, Fiat Peugeot 500, 206+, 207, Bipper and Partner, Dacia Logan Break spread over 27 stations, located mostly in Bordeaux, but also in Talence, Bègles, Cenon, Pessac and Merignac. Skibus takes you right to the foot of the slopes. It's for ski enthusiasts, but also for the most economical. As long as you get up early, the Skibus picks up its first passengers, including their equipment, at 4.30 a.m. near Gare Saint-Jean in Bordeaux, then at 4.40 a.m. at Décathlon in Bègles, at 4.55 a.m. in Talence and finally at 6.30 a.m. in Mont-de-Marsan (subject to availability). Arrival at the resort is scheduled for 9am. With your ski pass already in your pocket, it's time to hit the slopes at Cirque du Lys in Cauterets! The resort is ideal for families, Sunday skiers and sporty types alike. Return to the bus at 5pm.
