For women and girls only, the Grand Hammam de Bordeaux combines well-being and escape, for a truly relaxing experience. In addition to the traditional hammam and rituals, a wide range of treatments are offered, including scrubs (sea salt, honey, argan, etc.), relaxing, nourishing or melting candle massages, rassoul or jojoba wax wraps... Magnifique moment entre filles.... Derrière des portes en bois, on est immédiatement plongé en orient.
L'endroit est propre, cosy, très féminin.
Le Hamman peut-être un peu chaud quand on rentre, mais c'est vraiment bien étudié pour le bien être et une peau au top.

We went to the Hammam without prior appointment on May 25th, 2015 (since it is on the site or the Facebook page that reservation required holidays) to offer a ritual has our mother for Mother's Day and more than we were disappointed by the reception of the " esthéticiennes" (if that is their real function) that make us literally at the door. Indeed one of the employees insisted, in Arabic, near his sister who had welcomed us, so that you go away from under pretext that the hammam did not work and two other groups were allowed for treatments that we also hope to do. We did not hear any excuse or formal endings of its share. This lack of respect, simply intolerable, deserves a mail recommended to the owner. I strongly recommend this hamman.

Initial staff. Bad services. Services well below other hammams or I went in the past (scrub with soft soap diluted with water and fact in 5 minutes - waxing has normal wax made by 2 people, because the arrived, while that was to be a waxing has oriental wax - massage ok, but nothing exceptional)
Large lover Hammam, I was not disappointed. A warm welcome, a treatment quality (particularly the treatment sultan). In short, relax and really pleasant scenery. An address to remember!
