Remaining a family business, Maison Pelen perpetuates its identity with its specialities: Ecureuil, Galets de Chalain, Noix de Baume, Pavés des Arcades, but also macaroons, chocolates, desserts and original creations. Those nostalgic for the snacks of yesteryear will love the old-fashioned chocolate bars, madeleines and éclairs. In winter, the cosy tea room invites you to warm up with a tasty hot chocolate. J'ai pris une galette des rois à la frangipane. Elle avait un très beau visuel. La pâte feuilletée est très bonne et ne s'effritent pas lors du découpage. Il y a très peu de frangipane et le goût de la frangipane n'est pas assez prononcé pour moi. La galette est gonflé d'air du a la cuisson de la pâte feuilletée, je ne trouve pas qu'elle a le bon équilibre entre le feuilletage et la frangipane.
