This belfry was erected in the mid th century to replace the one built in 1678, when Franche-Comté became French. The latter had also replaced the old tower of custody of the ramparts of Bamiyan. Here you can admire a beautiful Roman dial-up. Very convenient for passers-by! Well placed, at the crossroads of Freedom and Rue du Commerce, it is one of the symbols of the city. Don't expect to hear his carillon, it is silent! And guess which shop is installed on the ground floor? A gem-watchmaking!
