CHÂTEAU PEYREDOULLE
Château Peyredoulle is famous because it belonged to the family of Pic de la Mirandole, the famous Italian philosopher. In 1867, it underwent major changes. All that remains of the original building is a square pavilion covered by a gable. It is located in the vineyards of Bordeaux, in the commune of Berson in Gironde. It produces red wines in the AOC Côtes-de-Bordeaux appellation. The estate has a vineyard area of about 21 hectares. The grape varieties are merlot noir, cot noir, petit verdot noir, cabernet-franc noir and cabernet-sauvignon noir. The vines generally benefit from an Atlantic climate. The terroir exploited by the Château Peyredoulle estate is essentially composed, in more or less large and scattered quantities, of clay-limestone. Namely, the vineyard is led by the practice of sustainable viticulture.
