Breakfast takes place in the elegant ground floor room; under your feet a wooden parquet, the windows of heavy red curtains blending in total harmony with antique furniture and decoration around the universe of wine. Located in the city centre, the labyrinths of the citadel are just 10 minutes'walk from the villa. In the region you will not be able to escape from a tasting of local wines (côtes-de-blaye) directly in Villa Saint-Simon and the visit of a castle or even several. In any case, as a great wine connoisseurs the boss will reveal the least secrets and will even propose the time of a day, if his schedule allows, to accompany you to be your guide of one day.

Coffee/tea service was unacceptable, no tea kettle for the tea bags, old leaky coffee machine, no milk.
Would be an amazing place if there was some TLC.
Blaye ist als Ausgangspunkt super gelegen, im Ort gibt es sehr gute Restaurants und Bäcker für frisches Brot zum Frühstück. Sehr zu empfehlen ist auch die hauseigene Winerytour die spannende Einblicke in die Weltgeschichte von @étalon rouge gibt.
Le lieu est exceptionnel et authentique.
On s’y sent redoutablement bien.
Il y a un mélange d’art, de culture, et de tradition ….
Clarissa et son Mari sont charmants; le feeling a sévi immédiatement grâce à leur bonne humeur, humour et généreux partage.
Nous avons prévu de revenir l’an prochain☺️
