In the small village of Gillois, in the heart of the Haut-Jura, Benoît welcomes you to his store selling cheeses and local products. In the morning, you can visit his workshop, which he will show you around as he shares his know-how. At the end of the tour, you'll find the pre-refining cellars surprising, and finish with a tasting of refined Comté cheeses. The store is open daily in the mornings and on Friday and Saturday afternoons.

Si vous êtes à proximité, n’hésitez pas à aller découvrir cette fruitière et la fabrication du Comté. Aurélie et Benoît nous ont accueillis et transmis un peu de leur savoir-faire. C’était super intéressant et un grand merci à eux de permettre cette découverte en famille ! Pensez à appeler pour réserver et l’horaire matinal est amplement justifié.

Une très belle visite qui nous a fait découvrir tout le processus de fabrication du comté: 1h de visite (gratuite) en appréciant les étapes du lait dans la cuve jusqu'aux 10 meules réalisées.Le tout avec passion, gentillesse et sourire.
Accessible à tous (enfants), sur réservation.
Nous recommandons cette fruitière et son excellent comté !

Un accueil souriant, une entrée directe dans le quotidien de la fruitière. Des explications claires et précises qui attestent d'une maîtrise de la chaîne de fabrication, du pâturage au magasin. Un regard sur la profession lucide et objectif. Des hôtes passionnants et passionnés. Assurément , on ne mangera plus, pardon, on ne dégustera plus du Comté de la même façon. Merci pour ce moment.
