Louis Pasteur was born here on December 27, 1822. Located at 43 rue Pasteur, this former family home housed the tannery of Joseph, the father of the Jura's most famous scientist. Listed as a historic monument since 1923, a visit to the house will enable you to discover Pasteur's scientific work. Microbiologist, chemist and physicist, Louis was no less of an artist. As you explore the 8 rooms, you'll be immersed in the life and work of this internationally renowned scientist. Temporary exhibitions are held on a regular basis.

Dole is een dagbezoek waard.Maak de wandeling van "de kat" en je krijgt een goed beeld. Heb je meerdere dagen: achter de camping is het mooi fietsen en wandelen langs het kanaal met vele sluisjes.
