This house is a museum dedicated to Louis Pasteur, with showcases and models of his family memories and discoveries...

Louis Pasteur was born here on December 27, 1822. Located at 43 rue Pasteur, this former family home housed the tannery of Joseph, the father of the Jura's most famous scientist. Listed as a historic monument since 1923, a visit to the house will enable you to discover Pasteur's scientific work. Microbiologist, chemist and physicist, Louis was no less of an artist. As you explore the 8 rooms, you'll be immersed in the life and work of this internationally renowned scientist. Temporary exhibitions are held on a regular basis.

Not worth visiting. The museum deals about the daily life of Louis Pasteur, which is just as uninteristering as anybody elses daily life. A total lack of information about his scientific discoveries.

Very disappointed with this museum: no interactivity, many windows, homemade not bad video, beautiful tanner workshop of the father. Nothing to do with the favourite for the house of Louis Pasteur located in Arbois.

De passage à Dole nous avons découvert ce petit musée, nous n'avons pas été déçu, surtout si on aime les sciences et le personnage.Le prix de l'entrée est correct, et c'est à proximité d'un quartier très sympa.
