This house is a museum dedicated to Louis Pasteur, with showcases and models of his family memories and discoveries...

Louis Pasteur was born here on December 27, 1822. Located at 43 rue Pasteur, this former family home housed the tannery of Joseph, the father of the Jura's most famous scientist. Listed as a historic monument since 1923, a visit to the house will enable you to discover Pasteur's scientific work. Microbiologist, chemist and physicist, Louis was no less of an artist. As you explore the 8 rooms, you'll be immersed in the life and work of this internationally renowned scientist. Temporary exhibitions are held on a regular basis.

Prix de 6€ avec ou sans guide et en diverses langues : support plastifié. Moment de culture très agréable qui retrace à la fois l'histoire et les découvertes scientifiques du milieu de 19 ème siécle jusqu'au début du 20 ème siècle car tout est lié.
On doit beaucoup à M. Pasteur qui nous permet de bien vivre aujourd'hui.

Le Musée de Pasteur est à voir, il n'est pas très grand mais complet, on y découvre beaucoup d'objets personnels, très intéressant...
