ESAT in which 65 adults with mental disabilities help raise chickens and guinea fowl.
Ferme Les Glycines is not quite like the others: it's an ESAT (Établissement et service d'accompagnement par le travail) in which 65 adults with mild to moderate mental disabilities work, helping to raise chickens and guinea fowl, specializing in horticulture or the upkeep of green spaces. All products produced on the farm are on sale in the grocery store: ready-to-cook chickens and guinea fowl (sold under the Le Festoy brand), plants, flower arrangements; you'll also find local produce (vegetables, bread, honey, Jura wines, etc.). The annual fairs in May and October are very popular for both flowers and vegetable plants. A production that supports this establishment and its vocation of mutual aid.
