SAINT-NITHIER CHURCH
Religious building
5/5
Recommended
The impressive church Saint-Nithier is of Romanesque construction. If it retained a few remains of the th century, it was several times reworked. In 1652, the entrance was reversed with the choir and a fire devastated it in 1637. Inside, visitors can discover th century stalls from the abbey of Baume-les-Messieurs. There are also five remarkable paintings of the th century masters, who were previously at the Château de Versailles! The beautiful Clocher tiles are typically comtois.
