This site is constantly evolving with the rhythm of summer workcamps carried out by young volunteers from different countries.
Built around 1100-1150, Château de Chevreaux was a sentinel in the Revermont region, defending the border between Franche-Comté and the kingdom of France. Since the 1990s, an association has been revitalizing the site: towers and ramparts, a vaulted cellar and the seigniorial dwelling have been consolidated. The castle is being brought back to life thanks to archaeological workcamps involving volunteers and talented craftsmen. From the castle's esplanade, you can enjoy an incredible panoramic view of the Burgundy Bresse plain!
