Chantal and Jean Berthet-Bondet left everything behind in 1984, leaving their profession as agricultural engineers. In love with the Jura wines, it was in the most famous city of yellow wine that they chose to create their estate. Having no family ties to the wine industry, they built up their estate plot by plot. 15 hectares now, in agrobiology since 2010, a third of which is Château-Chalon. Since 2018, their daughter Hélène has joined them. The white wines, including the famous yellow wine, and other wines, whether or not they are oaked, largely occupy the barrel. A warm welcome guaranteed.

Our very first time visiting a vineyard. The host was very helpful and considerate and made us feel very welcome. Really nice and special wines.

Nous avons passé une après midi à Château chalon le 15 juillet 2022 et selon les avis, j’ai décidé de me rendre au domaine. Vu la chaleur, nous étions seules. Nous avons pu profiter du calme pour en savoir davantage sur les différents vins du Jura ainsi que le particularité.

La jeune dame qui nous a accueilli était très sympathique et connaît extrêmement bien son boulot.

Merci à elle d’avoir partager son savoir avec nous.

Dégustation le Lundi 18.07.22, j'étais le seul client. Facilité de stationnement,
ponctualité, accueil, conseil, petite visite en cave (bien appréciables) . Le jeune femme est charmante, elle connait bien le domaine, et les vins présentés.
Elle répondait avec clarté, à chacune de mes interrogations
Je me suis laissé tenter par 4 bouteilles différentes.
Je recommande vivement ce domaine, et le village de Château Chalon est à découvrir également !!
