Michel Geneletti began viticulture in the Etoile appellation in 1976. His son, David, joined him over 20 years ago, but has now decided to take a step up to the most prestigious benchmark, Château-Chalon. The estate covers 15 hectares, producing mainly whites. There are also vines in the Arbois appellation. Try the Crémant du Jura. A low-carbon nose gives way to fresh apple and fine bubbles. A well-balanced wine to enjoy as an aperitif or with a meal.

Quelle mauvaise expérience notre passage dans cette cave ! Un monsieur très arrogant nous accueille, enfin si on peut dire accueillir... nous colle ses tarifs devant le nez et répond à nos questions avec mépris. Nous avions l'intention d'acheter du chateau-chalon, vin que nous ne connaissons pas, mais manifestement ce monsieur ne voulait pas nous faire déguster alors sans dégustation, pas d'achat ! Surtout à quelqu'un d'aussi déplaisant !

J'ai découvert ce viticulteur par hasard lors d'une promenade à Château Chalon. Le propriétaire, qui ne manque pas d'humour, m'a tout de suite mis à l'aise et m'a fait gouter ses meilleurs nectars. Ses vins sont un enchantement en bouche et je suis reparti avec 4 merveilles : un château Chalon 2010, un vin de paille 2013, un Savagnin ouillé Génésius et un Savagnin réserve de Louis. Allez y sans hésiter, vous ne serez pas déçu.
