Located in Chapelle-Voland, the Étangs Vaillant, du Crêt and du Fort trail invites you to enjoy a pleasant hike in the heart of the Jura mountains. This 4.7 km trail, which is easy and partly accessible to people with reduced mobility, offers a unique opportunity to discover the richness of a wetland. As you explore this charming site, between ponds, woods and fields, you'll marvel at the flora and fauna, constantly changing with the seasons. Observatories and fences have been set up along the way to make it easier to observe the animals without disturbing them. The trail also illustrates the relationship between man and nature. To protect the environment in this area, a hiker's charter has been drawn up at the start of the trail to raise awareness of the need to respect nature. To get there, from Bletterans, take the D122 towards Pierre-de-Bresse. Before Le Vernois, turn left onto Rue de Marlot C10, then Rue du Moulin du Crêt C13. Parking is also available at the "Étang Vaillant" post. To make the most of your walk, we recommend you wear good walking shoes or boots, a water bottle and a hat. You should also include a pair of binoculars and a camera in your list of things to take with you as you explore the Étangs Vaillant trails. A great place to immerse yourself in Jura nature!
