This institution has just redone its store, and is now a veritable showcase for exceptional cheeses. The tradition is preserved, even after five generations. Marc, the great-grandson, has been awarded the prestigious title of Meilleur ouvrier de France Fromagers, an accolade that does not alter the family spirit that reigns at the heart of this institution. No fewer than 150 cheeses from all over France and abroad are on display, most of them carefully matured in the house cellars. Alongside excellent regional products. Not to be missed.

Opening time and information on FROMAGERIE JANIN
Open Tuesday to Saturday, 7.30am to 12.15pm and 2.30pm to 7pm. Sunday mornings only during school vacations, from 9am to noon. Delivery available (online purchases). By the unit or kilo, in boxes, on trays, in buffets. Meal vouchers available.

Fromagerie Janin is located in Champagnole. It offers a selection of raw-milk cheeses, all produced on small farms. Here, you'll find Comté, Morbier, Mont d'Or, Bleu de Gex, Vin Jaune tommes, Palets au Maroc d'Arbois, bear's garlic and caraway tommes... In the store, you'll discover dozens of different cheeses from the Jura, but also from various regions of France and other countries. For your events, the establishment can prepare a seasonal buffet of varied flavors and colors. We can also offer three types of platter for aperitifs, full meals and end-of-meal meals, and advise you on the best food and wine pairings.
